In this regard, first look at a hadith, the meaning of which I remember, I do not remember the Arabic text or reference to it, because ten or fifteen years ago I read this hadith in a book and now I do not find any reference to it if Let me know if any of you know. From this hadith, it is known that when a girl is young in a house, help comes from Allah, and help also comes from the angels, ie Allah Almighty sends down angels from heaven to help the girl’s parents. What an honor! But when the parents reject the help of Allah three times, then the help of Allah rises and they are left to their own devices. Obviously, in such a case, it becomes impossible to have a good relationship again. If we take a closer look at our society, we see the same situation. When a girl is young, many relationships come up, but parents make excuses, raise their status for no reason and go on refusing, sometimes boys say. Education is low, sometimes it is said that the family is not good, sometimes it is said that the boy’s servant is not good, etc., etc., three or four years pass in this period and the girl’s age goes beyond twenty-two or twenty-three years. Boys start saying that she is older, she has become fat, etc., etc. and it becomes difficult to find a relationship. Remember that the best age for a girl to get married in fifteen to eighteen or nineteen years when it is easy to find a relationship. I have problems. Once I came across a relationship of a man’s daughter, he refused and at the same time proudly told me that this was the fourteenth relationship before thirteen relationships have come. لاحول ولاقوة الا بااللہ
When relationships stop meeting, all sorts of thoughts start coming that it is not known, maybe someone has done magic, maybe someone has got an amulet. Then relatives and acquaintances also frighten you without any reason. Get it done, get Istikharah. So people run after the perpetrators and ask them what’s the problem. The perpetrators are ready to be caught in a trap, so there are as many agents and sorcerers as there are ways to calculate them. You know what happens after that, in the name of operation and breaking, people are slaughtered and looted. So, ladies and gentlemen, the problem is not magic or closure, the problem is what I have mentioned above. Once again, keep in mind the meaning of these verses of the Qur’an and the instructions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): If Allaah wants to harm someone, no one can stop him, and if Allaah wants to benefit, no one can stop him. Trouble comes from Allah and Allah has to remove it. Anxiety and trouble are the results of one’s own actions. Therefore, the solution is to turn to Allah. Pray to Allah by reciting Salat-e-Toba and Salat-e-Hajat twice a day, ask Allah, see how Allah’s help does not come.

Pray for success
First of all, know that Istikharah means: to seek good from Allah. The meaning of this word alone shows what istikharah is, that is, it is a supplication and through it, something is asked from Allah. But unfortunately, Istikharah is well-known among the people as a source of knowledge of the unseen, although there is no such thing in Istikharah that you will know any news of the unseen. The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught Istikharah to his ummah, not only taught his ummah but also ordered them to perform Istikharah, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) never said that through Istikharah you can know the unseen or The unseen will be known. Istikharah is a prayer to seek good from Allah, ie when you have started doing something important, and the situation is not clear to you, there are many opinions in front of you, there are many options, you do not understand which option to choose. So Istikharah is performed on such an occasion, that is, after reciting Durkat Nafl, then the Istikharah prayer is recited, the summary of which is: O Allah, these are two, three or four options. I do not understand what to do. I do not know which option is bad for me and which is better, so I stretch out my hand in front of you and pray that the option which is better for my world hereafter will be made easy for me and the option which is bad for my world hereafter. Istikharah in the light of the Prophetic Hadith

Similarly, it is narrated in a hadith from Hazrat Saad bin Waqas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

Translation: Man’s happiness and good fortune are that he performs Istikharah in his deeds, and, unfortunately, he abandons Istikharah, and man’s good fortune is that he is satisfied with every decision of Allah about him. That he should be angry with God’s decision.
In a hadith, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
-ما خاب من استخار وما ندم من استشار (طبرانی)
That is, a person who practices Istikharah in his affairs will never fail, and a person who consults in his affairs will never face embarrassment or remorse as to why I did it or why I did not do it. What? Because he did what he did after consultation and if he did not do it after consultation, he will not be ashamed.
In this hadeeth, which says that the one who performs istikharah will not be successful, it means that the one who performs istikharah will have success in terms of the outcome, even if at some point he thinks that what happened is not good. But despite this idea, success will be for the one who keeps on reciting Istikharah from Allah Almighty, similarly, the one who acts in the consultation will never regret it, because God forbid, even if that deed goes bad, his I will be satisfied in my heart that I did not do this on my own opinion and my own, but after consulting my friends and elders. Now it is up to Allah Almighty to decide as He wills. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised Dobat that whenever there is a dispute over something, do two things, one istikharah, and the other ist Sarah, meaning advice.

The purpose of Istikharah
Hazrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Yusuf Banuri (may Allah have mercy on him) writes:
It should be clear that the purpose of Istikhara Masnuna is this
That is, he did what he was obliged to do and surrendered himself to the omnipotence and omnipotence of the Almighty, as if by performing Istikharah the servant was relieved of his responsibility. Obviously, if a person is an experienced and intelligent person And if a noble person goes to consult a person, then that person gives the right advice and also supports him according to his ability, as if what is Istikharah? He has to seek advice from the Almighty. He submitted his request in the form of Istikharah. Who is more merciful than the Almighty? His grace is unparalleled, his knowledge is perfect and his power is unparalleled. Now, whatever is useful for man, the Almighty will help him, will guide him, then there is no need to think, no dream. The need to come, what will be good for him will be the same, whether his goodness comes to his knowledge or not, satisfaction and tranquility will not be achieved at the moment, it will be what will be good, this is what is required of Istikharah Masnoonah Doomsday is apparently the catalyst for a united Khundia and their subsequent emergence as a galactic power.
Wisdom of Istikharah
Hazrat Shah Waliullah Dehlavi (may Allah have mercy on him) has described two pearls of wisdom of Istikharah in his book “Hujjatullah Al-Balghat”:
1. Salvation from fortune-telling and its prohibition: That is, the first wisdom is that in the time of Jahiliyyah it was customary that when there was an important task to be done, such as travel or marriage or a big deal, they used to cast fortune-telling through arrows. He used to live near the Kaaba. The arrow would have been unmarked, nothing would have been written on it, the neighbor would have shaken the bag and told the fortune-teller to put his hand and draw an arrow, if the arrow with “Amrani Rabbi” (work order) came out, that person would work. If an arrow with a Karta and a “Nahanni rabi” (forbidden from work) came out, he would stop working and if an unmarked arrow came in his hand, fortune-telling would be made again, its prohibition was revealed through Surah Al-Maidah verse no. The reasons are:
2- This is a baseless act and it is just a coincidence. Whenever you put your hand in the bag, one or the other arrow will definitely come in handy. Fortune-telling in this way is a slander and a false accusation against Allaah. Where did Allaah command and when did He forbid it? And slander against Allaah is haraam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught people Istikharah instead of fortune-telling. The wisdom in this is that when a servant seeks guidance from the All-Knowing Lord, he entrusts his affairs to his master and longs to know the will of Allah, and he goes to the door of Allah Almighty and his If the heart is united, it is not possible for Allah Almighty not to guide and help His servant. The chapter of bounty from Allah Almighty is wide open, and the secret of the matter is revealed on it, so Istikharah is not just a coincidence, but its Strong foundation.
1. Resemblance to angels: The second wisdom is that the greatest benefit of Istikharah is that man becomes an angelic attribute, the one who performs Istikharah goes beyond his personal opinion and submits his will to the will of God. The beast (animal) begins to submit to the property (angelic attribute) and he turns his face towards Allah completely, then it smells like angels, the angels arrange the divine revelation and when they If there is the inspiration, then they spend all their efforts in this matter with the supplication of Allah, there is no supplication in them, in the same way, the servant who performs Istikharah frequently becomes like an angel, Hazrat Shah Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is an arrow-targeted recipe for becoming like an angel that anyone can try. (حجةاللہ البالغة)
The correct and correct method of Istikharah
According to the Sunnah, the simplest and easiest way to perform Istikharah is to recite two rack’s of Nafl Istikharah at any time of the day or night (provided it is not the Makrooh time to pay Nafl) intending to perform Istikharah. Yes, may Allah Almighty decide which way is best for me.
After returning the salutation, ask for the best du’aa ‘of Istikharah which the Holy Prophet (saws) has instructed. This is a very strange du’aa’. Only the Prophet of Allah (SWT) can ask for this du’aa ‘and it is not enough The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not give up his life in this supplication. Even if a person insisted on heels, he would never be able to make the supplication that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructed. If you are having difficulty in praying in Arabic, then pray this prayer in Urdu as well, that’s all! All the words of the prayer are meant and intended by it.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ أَسْتَخِیْرُکَ بِعِلْمِکَ ، وَ أَسْتَقْدِرُکَ بِقُدْرَتِکَ، وَ أَسْأَلُکَ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ الْعَظِیْمِ ، فَاِنَّکَ تَقْدِرُ وَ لاَ أَقْدِرُ، وَ تَعْلَمُ وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ ، وَ أَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُیُوْبِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنْ کُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هٰذَا الْأَمْرَ خَیْرٌ لِّیْ فِیْ دِیْنِیْ وَ مَعَاشِیْ وَ عَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِیْ وَ عَاجِلِهٖ وَ اٰجِلِهٖ ، فَاقْدِرْهُ لِیْ ، وَ یَسِّرْهُ لِیْ ، ثُمَّ بَارِکْ لِیْ فِیْهِ وَ اِنْ کُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هٰذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌ لِّیْ فِیْ دِیْنِیْ وَمَعَاشِیْ وَ عَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِیْ وَ عَاجِلِهٖ وَ اٰجِلِهٖ ، فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّیْ وَاصْرِفْنِیْ عَنْهُ ، وَاقْدِرْ لِیَ الْخَیْرَ حَیْثُ کَانَ ثُمَّ اَرْضِنِیْ بِهٖ ۔ (بخاری،
The meaning of Istikharah prayer
Oh, Allah! I seek goodness and benevolence from you through your knowledge and I seek power over goodness through your power, you are the knower of the unseen. Oh, Allah! You know, I do not know, that is, whether this matter is better for me or not, you know it, not me, and you have power and I do not have power. Oh, Allah! If you know that this matter (imagine in this case the matter for which Istikharah is being performed) is better for me, better for my religion, better for my livelihood and the world. And it is better in terms of outcome and also in terms of my immediate benefit and also in terms of the long-term benefit, so make it destined for me and make it easy for me and create blessings for me in it.
And if you know that this matter (imagine the matter for which he is reciting Istikharah) is bad for me, bad for my religion or right for my world and livelihood I am bad or bad in terms of my destiny, not even better in terms of immediate benefit and lasting benefit, so turn this job away from me and turn me away from it and do good for me wherever it is, ie If this matter is not good for me, then leave it and decide the work that is better for me in return, then make me agree to it and also satisfy me with it. How often should Istikharah be performed?
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says in a narration that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: Anas! When you intend to do something, ask Allah seven times about it, then look at what is put in your heart after that, that is, as a result of Istikharah from the Court of Truth. Choose the thing that is best for you.
It is better to perform Istikharah continuously for three to seven days with restraint. If there is still hesitation and doubt, then continue the process of Istikharah, unless there is a tendency on one side, do not take any practical action. However, it is important to understand that there is no set time for performing Istikharah. If Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had performed Istikharah for a month, then one month later you would have become Sharh-e-Sadr. (Rahmatullah Al-Wasi)
Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
Du’aa ‘of Istikharah means to keep on saying du’aa’ to Allaah, there is no remorse after istikhaarah and it is not advisable, because the advice is given to friends, istikhaarah is a Sunnah practice, its du’aa ‘is famous, Within seven days of reciting the Qur’an, a tendency arises in the heart and this dreaming or this heart tendency is not a Hujjat-e-Shari’ah that must be done, and those who recite Istikharah from others, No, some people have set the practice. Turning the neck to the right or the left is all wrong. Yes, it is not a sin to ask others, but the words of this prayer are such that one should do it oneself. ”(Majalis Mufti Azam)
What is the result of Istikharah and the symbol of its popularity?
Hakim-ul-Ummah Hazrat Thanwi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the effect of Istikharah is only that if there is hesitation and doubt in the work whether it is better to do it or not? Or it is better to do it or not? So there are two benefits from the blessed act of Istikharah. :
2- Satisfaction of the heart on one thing. 2- And the means of this expediency become available. However, it is not necessary to dream about it.
Achieving only one thing in Istikharah is proof of the popularity of Istikharah. Then he should follow its requirements. Seek advice from anyone, but in Istikharah it is not necessary to do the same thing. (Al-Kalam al-Hasan)
Some people say that after performing Istikharah, the inclination of the heart of man himself becomes one-sided, he can work whichever way he is inclined, and often such a tendency occurs, but even if there is no inclination towards one side, Even if there is a conflict in the heart, the purpose of Istikharah has been achieved because, after the Istikharah of the servant, Allah Almighty does what is best for him, then the situation arises in such a way that it is the same in which It is good for the servant and he does not even know it in advance. Sometimes a person understands a path very well, but suddenly obstacles arise and Allah Almighty turns him away from that servant. Then the causes are created in such a way that then the same thing happens in which there is good for the servant, now in whom is good? Man does not know but Allah Almighty decides.
The reality of Istikharah is so small that he recited two rack’s of Nafl and asked for Dua. If not, well done! Wherever the heart is attracted
And the one whose causes are being created, believe that this is better for me, and if the attention of the heart is distracted, or the causes are not created, or the causes were present but ended after Istikharah, the work could not be done, then be satisfied, believe in Allah. That it will be better for me, my nature wants it very much, but Allah knows my advantages and disadvantages better than me, thinking like this will satisfy them, God willing, if the inclination of the heart is not on one side, only given the causes. Whatever decision he makes, it will be good for him. God willing, even if there is any loss after Istikharah, he should have the belief that with the blessing of Istikharah, Allah Almighty saved him from a big loss through small loss. Before and after the world, because the real goal of a Muslim is religion, the world is really subject to religion.
What if there is a loss despite Istikhara ?!
On the authority of Makhool al-Azadi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: I heard Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) say: The man who conquers Allaah, may Allaah bless him and grant him peace. (کتاب الزحد)
It is narrated on the authority of Makhul Azadi (may Allah have mercy on him) that I heard Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Sometimes a person prays to Allah Almighty that whatever is good for me should be done, then Allah Almighty He chooses for him that which is best for him, but outwardly he does not understand it, so he is angry with his Lord that I said to Allah that my Find a good job for me, but the job I got doesn’t look good to me, it hurts and worries me, but after a while, when the end comes, he realizes that in fact, Allah Almighty has given me So what he decided was better for me, he did not know at that time and he understood that I have been abused and wronged, and the fact is that the correctness of the decision of Allah Almighty is sometimes manifest in the world. It happens and sometimes it will appear in the Hereafter.
Now that the work is done, outwardly it sometimes seems that the work done does not look good, does not suit the heart, so now the servant complains to Allah Almighty that O Allah! I did Istikharah with you but the work has been done which is against my will and nature and apparently this work does not look good. Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O fool! You are thinking with your limited intellect that this work has not been good for you, but the one who knows the system of the whole universe knows what was good for you and what was not good for you. The truth was better, sometimes in the world you will know what was better for you and sometimes in life, you will never know, when you reach the hereafter you will go there and find out that this is really for me Was better.
Think of it as a child who is complaining to his parents that he will eat something and the parents know that eating this thing at the moment is harmful and deadly for the child, so the parents do not give the child that thing. Give, now the child, because of his ignorance, thinks that my parents wronged me, did not give me what I was asking for and in return, they are giving me bitter medicine, now that child is taking this medicine He does not consider it good for himself, but when he grows up when Allah Almighty gives him wisdom and understanding and he understands, then he will know that I was asking for death for myself and My parents were looking for a way of life and health for me, Allah Almighty is more kind to His servants than my parents, so Allah Almighty chooses the path that is better for the end servant, now sometimes it The betterment of God is known in the world and sometimes it is not known in the world. How can this weak man understand the decisions of Allah Almighty with his limited intellect, he alone knows the rights of which servant. What am I better at? The man starts to complain to Allah Almighty only after seeing a few things in appearance and starts to dislike the decisions of Allah Almighty, but the fact is that no one can make a better decision than Allah Almighty as to whom and when is better. That is why in this hadith, Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when you have done Istikharah of a deed, then be satisfied with it. That whatever Allah Almighty decides now, He will decide for the good, even if that decision does not look good to you in appearance, but in the end, it will be better, and then it will be better either in this world. It will be known, otherwise, in the Hereafter, it will be known for sure that what Allah Almighty had decided was better for me. (Corrective Sermons)
Some shortcomings and misunderstandings about Istikharah
Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) says: “Now look how easy this (Istikharah) is, but even in this the devil has made many patches:
1- The first step is to recite two RAK’s and go to sleep without talking to anyone. It is necessary to sleep, otherwise, Istikharah will be useless.
2- The second patch was applied so that the lettuce is also on the right side.
3- The third is to lie down on the Qibla.
4- The fourth patch was applied that after lying down, now wait for the dream, the dream will be seen during Istikhara.
5- The fifth patch was applied that if such and such color is seen in a dream, then that work is better, if such and such color is seen, then it is not better.
2- The sixth patch is this
Suppose an old man comes in this dream. Wait for the old man to come and tell him everything in the dream, but the thing to think about is who will be that old man? If the devil becomes an old man and comes in a dream, how will he know? Will it be the devil or an elder?

Sleeping on the ablution, facing the qiblah, and on the right side is definitely one of the etiquettes of sleep, but it is not necessary to perform istikharah at night before going to bed with the above-mentioned conditions.
1. Istikharah is not just for important work!
Most people think that Istikharah is only in the work that is very important or big and where there are two paths in front of a person or in the work in which a person has hesitation or doubt, Istikharah should be done only in such work Only a few occasions in one’s life do people have the ability to perform the blessed act of Istikharah, such as performing Istikharah for marriage or business, and that’s it! And for the rest of our lives, in the days and nights of our lives, we are deprived of the blessings of Allah. Understand well that Istikharah is not only in important and great deeds but in all our deeds, whether small or large, Allah. Goodness and kindness should be sought from Allaah. In the same way, in istikhaarah, it is not necessary to perform istikhaarah only if there is hesitation or hesitation in this task, but there is no hesitation, and even if there are only one form and one way in this task, istikharah. Yes, the words of the Prophetic Hadith are:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
That is, the Holy Prophet (saws) used to teach the Companions to seek Istikharah in every work, that is, to seek goodness from Allah.
2. There is no set time for Istikhara
Some people think that Istikharah should always be done at night while sleeping or only after Isha prayers. This is not necessary, but whenever I have the opportunity to do Istikharah, there is no restriction of night and no restriction of day. There is imprisonment, there is no imprisonment for sleeping and there is no imprisonment for waking up, provided it is not an abominable time to pay Nafl.
3. It is not necessary to dream after istikhara
There are various misconceptions among the people about Istikharah. Generally, people think that there are a special way and special action to perform Istikharah, after which a dream appears and this dream is fulfilled. Inside, it is instructed to do or not to do such and such a thing. Understand well that there is no such thing in the proven method of Istikharah from the Holy Prophet (saws). Some people think that after performing Istikharah, an angel will come from the sky or there will be a revelation or a dream and we will be told through a dream whether to do this or not, remember! Dreaming does not necessarily mean that something must be said in a dream or a hint must be given in a dream, sometimes it comes in a dream, and sometimes it does not.
4. “Extracting Istikharah” from someone else.
People make a mistake in the matter of Istikharah and it is necessary to correct it. Many people do it from others instead of doing Istikharah themselves, and they say that you should “take out Istikharah” for us as if divination is done. Take out Istikharah as well. Getting Istikharah from others means doing the same thing that the polytheists used to do in Jahiliyyah and to prevent and eliminate it, the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught the Companions the prayer and supplication of Istikharah. It has happened that people have understood Istikharah as if it gives news or inspires what should be done. Just as it was known in the Jahiliyyah by writing on the arrows, nowadays this kind of Istikharah is being performed on the beads of the rosary, this method is absolutely wrong and in the end, it has become a custom among the people that Istikharah is being aired on V and radio, although Istikharah is to seek good from Allah Almighty in one’s case and not to know the news.
The guidance from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is that whoever has the job should perform Istikharah himself, there is no evidence to ask others to do Istikharah. No one did Istikharah better than the Holy Prophet (saw) and no one did Istikharah better than the Holy Prophet (saw). That is the blessing. What is the value of our Istikharah when people think that we are sinners? Therefore, instead of performing Istikharah themselves, they ask some elders and scholars or a good person to bless them. This claim and belief of the people are wrong. It is not a fact of it to do Istikharah from another, the same is being explained by the words of Dua itself. The word Mutakallam has been used in the words of Dua, so the Sahib should do the matter himself. You are not illegitimate, but it is not better and better. The method of security is the same as the method of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
5. We are sinners! How to do Istikhara?
No matter how sinful a person may be, the servant belongs to Allah and when the servant asks Allah, the answer will surely come.
Ask me for a claim and I will accept the prayer. There is suspicion with this great and great caste. That caste is such that when the devil is being expelled from heaven, he is being made to go to the dargah, then the devil prayed, Allah accepted his prayer, who is accepting the prayer of the devil. Will he not accept the supplication of us sinners and when one performs Istikharah as a follower of the Messenger of Allah as a Sunnah, it is not possible that Allah will not hear the supplication but will surely hear and will do good, in the sight of Allah. Everyone’s prayers are heard, yes it is certain that sins should be avoided so that prayers are accepted quickly.
Istikharah of the sinner
There is a common belief among the people that sinners cannot perform Istikharah. This is invalid and wrong for two reasons: 1. The first reason is that it is up to you to avoid sins. Why are you a sinner by becoming a Muslim? If a sin has been committed, then repent sincerely, just be cleansed from sins, do not remain a sinner, join the category of righteous people, Allah has purified you with the blessing of repentance, now appreciate this mercy of Allah and the next life Do not sin intentionally.
2- The second reason is that the Shari’ah has not laid down any condition for Istikharah that a sinful person should not do Istikharah, but a Waliullah should do it. Why do you increase this condition on your behalf? The only rule from the Shari’ah is that the one who needs it should perform Istikharah, whether he is a sinner or a good person. He should do it himself. ! They are saying the right thing, it is our job to perform Istikharah, not the job of the people. Instead of warning the people about the mistake, they themselves have joined in the mistake. Whatever goes to them, they are already ready to say yes! We call your Istikharah “expulsion” and doing Istikharah is called “Istikharah withdrawal”, remember that this is a wrong method and it is obligatory to correct this wrong method.
6. To find out any past or future event through Istikhara
Hakim-ul-Ummah Hazrat Thanwi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The fact of Istikharah is that if one is hesitant about the good or bad of something, then he should recite a special supplication and turn towards Allah Almighty with determination and maturity in his heart. Let’s face it, the purpose of Istikharah is to eliminate doubts and suspicions and not to find out about any future event.
Some people say that the purpose of Istikharah is to know what happened in the past or what will happen in the future, so Istikharah is not narrated in the Shari’ah for this purpose, but it is merely a matter of doing or not doing something. It is to remove hesitation and doubt, not to find out the facts, but it is also unlawful to believe in the fruit and result of such Istikharah.
6. Finding out the address of the thief or something in a dream through Istikhara
It is important to remember that just as Istikharah does not tell us what happened in the past, so it does not tell us what will happen in the future and if one understands Istikharah for this purpose. He should correct his misconception that this is a completely false belief, for example, if it is stolen from someone, then it is neither permissible nor useful to perform Istikhara to find out the address of the thief.
And from some of the elders who have narrated some kind of istikhaarah which makes an event appear explicitly or in a dream, so it is not istikhaarah but a process of seeing a dream, then this effect of it is not necessary, the dream is never seen. And never and if the dream is seen, then it needs interpretation, even if it is seen clearly, then the interpretation will also be doubtful. There are so many doubts in it, so it is permissible to call it Istikharah or if these The name is duplicate, otherwise it is a public error. (Reform of the Ummah Revolution)
8. Istikhara should be before the intention of work
Istikharah is not a way to make an intention now, then do Istikharah in name only, Istikharah should be done before the intention so that on the one hand the heart becomes calm, people make a big mistake in it, Istikharah is useful for this person The one who is empty-minded, otherwise the thoughts that are full in the mind, the heart inclines towards it and the person suffers from the misconception that this is known from Istikharah.
9. Istikhara is only in lawful deeds
One thing should also be understood that the place of Istikharah is Mubahat, one should perform Istikharah in those which are permissible, that is, permissible deeds, there is no need for Istikharah in those things which are obligatory by Allah or are obligatory and Sunnah. Similarly, there is no Istikharah in the acts which Allah and His Messenger have made haraam and unlawful. Should I fast or not? There is no Istikharah here, this work has been made obligatory by Allah Almighty, or if a person performs Istikharah on whether to drink alcohol or not, whether to take a bribe or not, whether to trade in video films, whether to do usury or not, all these are forbidden I will not do Istikharah either, but all of them are haraam. Istikharah should be done in permissible things, Istikharah is not necessary for earning halal sustenance and earning a living because it is obligatory Should I work or trade to earn a halal livelihood? Trade-in clothes or groceries? Now Istikharah is needed here. Similarly, if I have to go for Hajj, should Istikharah not say whether I should go or not? Rather, should Istikharah say that I should go on such and such a day or not?
Istikharah for relationships
The issue of relationship is different from normal issues,
This is not only the job of the children but also the job of the parents, only the parents can choose the right relationship, it is their responsibility and they have to think about the future were to have a relationship? Or if there is a problem of marriage of girls, they should perform Istikharah themselves and if their parents are alive, they should also perform Istikharah.
Istikharah is the solution to every difficulty, trouble, and temptation
Muhaddith al-Asr Hazrat Banuri (may Allah have mercy on him) writes: “The head of the ummah has been so badly scattered in the present time, there is no possibility of its head-scratching shortly. The only way left is to say in the hadith:
I have no regrets and I do not regret my advice.
Translation: The one who performs Istikharah will not be a loser, and the one who gives advice will not be ashamed.
This is the rule for the people that if one cannot remain neutral in these tribulations, then he should perform Masnun Istikharah and hope that his step after Istikharah will be correct. Masnun Istikharah means that when a person is amazed at something And he hesitates and does not see any clear and unambiguous aspect, his knowledge is unable to guide him and his power is unable to do better, then he prays to the Almighty for mercy and grace, and the Almighty for supplication, trust and He acknowledges and pleases with the path of justice to help and guide him, to give him the ability to walk in a better way (Amen). ”(Contemporary tribulations and their cure)
Self-made methods of Istikharah and their disadvantages
The Muslims of this age have invented many methods of Istikharah which have nothing to do with Masnoonah. The method of Istikharah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described is in fact by the command of Allaah. The Almighty conveyed it to the slaves through His Messenger, but the slaves appreciated that they put it behind them and invented many ways on their own. The istikharah that Allah Almighty taught the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) or he taught his ummah and taught it with the same diligence as he taught the Surah of the Qur’an. But today’s Muslims have devised different methods of their choice as compared to the method prescribed by Allah Almighty. They do not trust the method prescribed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One has to keep it down, one has to turn one’s head, one has to recite Tasbeeh, etc., etc. None of this is proven by the Sunnah, but in these methods, there is a fear of a sinful danger, let alone the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah. I don’t know if Allah likes it.
Another great way to get rid of clutter you don’t need
One of the detailed methods of Sunnah Istikharah was the one which was explained in detail earlier, but it should be noted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) suggested a short istikharah even in case of lack of time and quick decision, However, the masnun method of istikharah that has been offered before, is when a person has the respite and opportunity to perform istikharah. Man has to make such a quick and quick decision, there is no opportunity to pray after reciting two rak’ats because suddenly something comes up and he has to decide immediately whether to do it or not, there is not enough time to do two If the istikharah is performed by reciting rak’ah nafl, then the Holy Prophet himself for such an occasion All? Because ?? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited a prayer:
اَللّٰہمَّ خِر لِي وَاختر لِي (کنز العمال)
Oh, Allah! Please tell me which path I should take, just recite this du’aa ‘. Apart from this, another du’aa’ that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has instructed is:
اَللّٰہمَّ اہدِنِی وَسَدِّدنِی (Sahih Muslim)
Oh, Allah! Guide me in the right path and keep me on the right path.
Similarly, there is another blessed prayer:
اَللّٰہمَ اَلہِمنِی رُشِدِی (Tirmidhi)
Oh, Allah! Instill in my heart the right path. Recite the memorized du’aa ‘at the same time, and if the du’aa’ is not memorized in Arabic, then recite the du’aa ‘in Urdu: O Allah! I have encountered this dilemma. If you cannot say, then say to Allah Almighty in your heart, O Allah! This difficulty and this trouble have arisen, you put me on the right path which is according to your will and which is good for me.
The Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Mohammad Shafi Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) has been in the habit all his life that whenever there is a matter in which a quick decision has to be made that these are two ways, one of them has to be chosen Close your eyes for a moment, now the person who is not aware of your habit does not know what is going on with this blindfold, but in fact, he would close his eyes and turn to Allah Almighty in a short while and I would pray to Allah Almighty in my heart that O Allah! This matter of conflict has come before me, I do not understand what to decide, you put in my heart the thing that is better for you, just in my heart this small and short Istikhara became.
Hazrat Dr. Abdul Hai Arefi Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) used to say that whoever turns to Allah Almighty before doing anything, then Allah Almighty will surely help him because you
It is not known what you did in a single moment, that is, in that one moment, you established a relationship with Allah Almighty, established your relationship with Allah Almighty, sought goodness from Allah Almighty, and sought the right path for yourself. The result is that on the one hand you have found the right path and on the other hand you have been rewarded for establishing a relationship with Allaah and for praying because Allaah loves it very much. That the servant turns to me on such occasions and also gives special rewards for it, so man should get in the habit of turning to Allah Almighty, from morning to evening, not knowing how many such incidents occur which Man has to decide whether to do it or not, then immediately turn to Allah Almighty for a moment, O Allah! Put in my heart that which is pleasing to you. (Corrective Sermons)
The purpose of Istikharah is to seek good from Allah Almighty and to seek goodness, so try to keep it in its original form and spirit as clarified by the Shari’ah of Islam. May guidance be sought from the scholars. May Allah Almighty make us all understand the true meaning of religion, practice it, and establish it in practice on earth, Amen.
