The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Marry more, you will be more numerous because on the Day of Resurrection I will be proud of other nations for your abundance.
Better is he who has many wives.
Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) has established a chapter in Sahih Bukhari entitled:
Chapter Multiple Women (having multiple wives). We have established this chapter and brought the following hadith under it:
On the authority of Saeed ibn Jubayr, he said: Ibn Abbas said: Are you married? قلتُ لا ، قال: فتقوج ، فان خیرھذہ الامۃ Most of the time.
Sa’eed ibn Jubayr (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: ‘Abdullah ibn’ Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) asked me, ‘Are you married?’ I said, “No.” Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas said, “Marry because the best in this ummah is the one who has more wives.”
It is known that this nation of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) has a text on the virtue of polygamy
Explaining the above statement, Hafiz Ibn Hajar said: In this hadeeth, Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allaah be pleased with him) pointed out that abandoning marriage is not something that should be preferred, because The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to marry her, but the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to marry a lot, despite having the greatest fear and knowledge of Allaah.
And in “Shifa” it is written that the Arabs used to like the multiplicity of marriages because it was the people who got married.

A budget of two or three lakhs will immediately come to mind, but if you think of Zina, it is also available in four or five hundred. The solution to all these problems is that Learn from life’s lessons. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq had four marriages. Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) performed eight marriages. Hazrat Uthman (RA) performed eight marriages. Hazrat Ali (RA) performed nine marriages. Hazrat Mughira bin Shuba (RA) performed seventy marriages. Hazrat Zubair bin Awwam had four marriages, Hazrat Hassan had seventy or ninety or one thousand marriages.
